The Banyan Theater Company, located on Florida’s cultural coast, remains true to its mission to produce professional theater in the summer. Now in our seventh season, we showcase outstanding actors performing in internationally celebrated plays. Works by playwrights such as George Bernard Shaw, Chekhov, Ibsen, Pinter and Stoppard are featured to provide the community with a unique theater experience.

Our vision is to maintain a summer theater festival in Sarasota to rival similar attractions in other areas of the country.
